12+ pvp noobs take on 3 pvp vets this Friday. "Cannon Fodder vs. Organized Chaos"

Starting around 4-5pm NBT, this Friday, June 25th.

Organized Chaos X, from the town of Verat Chaos Decimus, has invited ANY 12 or more PvP noobs to take on 3 members of OCX in a guild war.

Ever wanted to pvp in SotA but just never pulled the trigger? This is your chance to learn in a chaotic environment with willing, and eager teachers.

To join, you must leave your guild and join Cannon Fodder, don't worry. You can leave and rejoin your guild at the end of the event, but the PvP noob army must be in the same guild to flag for guild war.

Get in touch with Volgarr Despleigh in game to receive an invite to Cannon Fodder.

Rule: No experienced pvp players allowed.

This event is organized to bridge the gap between player skill and player understanding of SotA's existing systems and how to build and play decks for PvP.

This will be extremely chaotic, but if we get together in a voice channel and organize our efforts while listening to the advice of the 3 we're trying to kill... we should come out better educated, and we may even be victorious.

The event will happen more than once, based on the fun had and further interest in it.

No one is required to speak on microphone, but being in discord voice would be extremely helpful to organize our efforts.

 

I would like to sign myself up! It's about time I officially jump into PvP!

 

We'll get together prior to the event so we can all guild up in Cannon Fodder, for sure.

Thanks Joe, we'll run a few of these to test and report some of the guild war mechanic bugs. Hopefully get that sorted out and people can start doing more of them.
Perhaps the people involved will learn some things, get interested and start practicing on their own.
The biggest issue at current is that being a member of a guild automatically flags you for PvP, to everybody, not just the opposing guild.

can I suggest a name change to the guild, cannon fodder just doesn't inspire confidence, how about "The Opposition" or "noob pvp guild"

 

Eh, fodder is much more fitting. Make no illusion about why OCX want only newbs on the other team.

 

To show that a group of unexperienced players can flush out the average pvp group out of their PvP scenes such as the Grunvald Shardfall, or the Fall.

That's the real goal here, but the name of the guild is fitting, we are throwing unexperienced pvpers at them until we can make it work.

 

Yeah, sure, whatever you need to sleep at night.
