Hi folks, another few questions for you: What's a good way to increase the chance to resist stuns? Or make the stun duration shorter? I know I can use space to jump and try to break the stun but that doesn't always work on first try; is there a way to increase the chance that it works? Thanks again! Ysold.
If you are using Heavy Armor, you will be innately more resistant to stuns, and have the skill "Knights Grace" that will instantly remove them. Shields also have greater resistance to stuns with Bolster Balance if I am not mistaken. But for a light armor user, you are left with your space bar spam!
That should be useful for my heavy armour user. But then, she doesn't really have a free space on her bars for extra skills. And there are so many other useful skills I'd like to place there... How on earth do you folks manage that? Dang, and Acrobatics doesn't help a bit?
For me, if I’m in an area with a lot of skeletons that use bludgeon weapons (they will use knockdown on you) I just equip a shield and keep Bolster Balance up.
Multiple decks. I usually have 2 or 3 copies of the same deck where I switch out some situational skills. Quick swapping decks allows you to do that!
for light armor, you hope you dodge the hit that would have stunned you. for breaking out with space bar:
It depends on the source of the stun: Most stuns (like from physical attacks) - You can "jump" out of it (see @Alley Oop's post above). Knight's Grace or smelling salts instantly remove it. Mesmerize - Higher intelligence lowers duration (jumping does nothing). Knight's Grace or smelling salts instantly remove it. Root - You can "jump" out of it (see @Alley Oop's post above). Knight's Grace and smelling salts have no effect. If it's a powerful root, you can use Blink to at least get away. You can put smelling salts on your utility hotbar, so that it's not taking up a combat hotbar spot.
