    @Graemalkyn, this isn't likely to be an issue with the in-games video settings, or more people would be seeing it. i suspect this is a macintosh error, which i am not in a position to verify. you might try making sure your graphics driver is up to date. failing that, i can talk you through trying different rendering backends.

    okay, if you want to try a command line switch for renderer-switching, the info is here. it might have its own negatives, though.

    Nah, I'll just not use the tiger because the flash is too distracting. What's interesting is, for me, the only other part of the game that flashes like that is the floor in the clockwork dragon room. What is it about *that* floor and *those* whiskers that is 'special' and different from everything else in the game?
