Idea: Dance in a Dungeon (dangerous scene with monsters)

I think a great program we do called Songs of the Day on Wednesday later afternoon (central time) might be a great time to do some events. I'm also available Friday nights during The Beat of Novia if you like electronic dance music

 

Classic! I didn't know about the party but went to the rise farming. When I rolled up to the mages room I couldn't believe what was going on... I buffed up at the bottom of the stairs, ran up the to top and poked my head in only to find a room full of crazy people dancing. I don't know the music but it suits the room... Thanks for posting that vid, one of those things I will never forget

You must be new here. Dance parties have been a thing in SotA longer than I've been a thing in SotA. And I've been around a while. And personally, I think a dance party in a dangerous scene sounds pretty rad! If it's not your thing, that's cool, but then why are you here commenting? Don't **** on other people's good time, just cause you're not into it. Carry on doing what you enjoy, and let others do the same.

Maybe you can create a 'dance threshold' for mobs so if there's enough players dancing/emoting, the mobs will stop fighting and start dancing too. (sounds like a lot of work)

 

This makes me imagine a group in the Breach scene, and people start to die. Then suddenly everyone just breaks out in dance to heal up lol. People on comms "Quick everyone needs to dance right now or we're all gonna die!" Would be pretty awesome to see to be honest

We should go have a dance party at the bottom of the rise shaft, where every 10 minutes or so we get a large, dragon-shaped unwanted guest.
Deco is a bit drab, and its kinda ...dark, but I expect we could manifest enough pyrotechnics :x

Im sorry that comment was uncalled for. Those trolls already have it bad enough with everyone constantly trying to overrun their keep. I've been putting my foot in my mouth a lot lately, please let your friends know that I didn't mean it!

 

Don't forget we have to clear it with @Chris that there are no limits to how many people can be in an adventure zone together. It was limited to the point that doing dances was not possible. Has that been removed?

Would be cool if you could stream the content from one scene/instance into another, so players from multiple dance parties could watch each other on an in-game screen. Sort of like television for instances...(like the big screen at Cowboy's stadium/Jerry's World)...but I guess that's what twitch is for. Although getting around the player limit for scenes somehow would be ideal.
