They need to shrink the skeleton guard's and their pedestals so they can line up the rugs properly.

I do not support this change request, the workers at the cathedral should focus their efforts on the dead bodies.

I am so glad it isn't just me.
I can barely stand to walk in here, my shoulders tense up and I start to twitch !

    It's probably intentionally sloppy.

Just remove the bright red rugs and then you've fixed the entire room as they seem out of place in such a dull place :)~Time Lord~:thumbs up:

Would be amusing if the rug decoration in this scene was set that players could move them…..

    They're crooked on purpose.

Generally in our game, measured architecture attempts "perfect angles" while anything seemingly hand-placed should be a little crooked or uneven. Even something hand-placed that is meant to be lined up should be at least a hair off from perfect. This kind of attention to detail makes the setting feel more real.

(Sometimes we fail in applying this rule. For example, sometimes you'll run across crates on docks that have been stacked with impossible precision, but that's a mistake by worldbuilders who probably meant to kink up the angles but missed them on a finishing pass for the scene. If I catch spots of impossible precision will fixing nearby bugs, I'll also adjust the stacks/angles.)

Yeah, but it could be a bit less sloppy.

https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/painting/object-placement-tool-99591#description I thought this was a nice tool to help - would be overkill a lot of the time, but for some stuff, this would be awesome.

I'm not sure you can put these rugs in the "hair off" category. But I was totally joking when I made this post. Wasn't expecting to get any sort of reaction. I'm happy if no dev time is ever used to straighten these rugs :)

You might change your mind after you realize it's randomized. :)

There are 3 possible rug configurations. The original one, the one in your newest screenshot, and a third one.

Hey, that's even better. With all the traffic on them it makes sense they would get moved around a bit. Nice idea!
