Shroud Player Convention!?

    So, like the California Raisins, I heard it through the grapevine that there is an upcoming Shroud convention in Tennessee that @Chris and possibly other devs are going to attend. Is that true? If so, why hasn't there been any announcement either on the website or the forums? Cheers! :D

    Yeah, I'd like to know what's going on myself. Thanks for posting this Cordelayne. It begs the question (if this is true), why wasn't EVERYONE notified so we could decide about attending?

    i THINK what chris is going to is syndcon, for the syndicate, so not shroud-specific though they do have a presence here, and if there are other devs going i have not heard of it.

    Not intended for Shroud is my guess...
    That is to say that Shroud may not be the focus...

    Peter Crandall Polk I'm helping Richard ramp up a new team and get solid tech in place. Currently splitting my time between Shroud and other thing. I will point out I won't be on the next two streams but that is just a coincidence. Have 4th of July plans this weekend and next release I'll be at a player convention for Shroud in Tennessee"

    Out of curiosity I did a google search on syndcon and it returned several outdated links to old syndicate web references. But a few results down I found a current link to a hotel in Tennessee that says it is booking for syndcon 22. https://www.resortatgovernorscrossing.com/groupbooking.php?id=00116 It does not specify if it is the host hotel or just one of many hotels that are taking bookings for the syndcon. It calls the event:
    Pinnacle Event SyndCon
    SyndCon 2022
    Wednesday, July 27th, 2022 through Monday, August 1st, 2022

    What I recall Chris saying was it’s a syndicon event but we still have a presence with them. It’s not specifically a shroud of the avatar event.
