Truth or Compassion...

    I just found Wen´s letter and now have a choice for truth or compassion.

    Is there a way (e.g. like ALT-213 in Ultima VI) to see my exact standing in the virtues to estimate what I ought to take? Or are there only the vague descriptions of the Oracle?

    There is no way to see your virtue scores. You can estimate how you're doing by wearing the Shroud of the Avatar or the dread artifacts though.

    I just finished all 3 outskirts zone and I´m still far from finishing the entire path´s of love, truth and courage as I´m not yet comfortable in tier 4 or more zones. So before I wear the Shroud or have Dread Artifacts it will be a while.

    No way to see before that and then only an estimate? Then I use the german way blunt, frank truth to the face.

    Talk to the Oracle and she'll at least tell you if you're positive or negative.

    After outskirts I recommend to do all side quests to earn experience and raise your skills.
    The easiest path is the path of truth. So it is a good idea to finish this one at first.
    After doing all side quests and finishing the first path you should be ready to manage the other paths.

    You can go to a market town and search for sylvan weapons for sale. They have stat bonuses that scale based on your virtue values, and you can see the adjusted bonuses without actually having the items.
