Have fun peeps…I cashed in my fresh water and lava fishing so I can start crafting again…..hang in there Henry you can win this one….

 

Would it be possible that all the participating towns display their participation in their daily message?

e.g. currently I´m in Novia Market - which is participating as written on page 1 of this thread - yet their daily message does not mention that, but advertises for the PVP fishing in Verdantis...

 

I think enough people know about the monthly fishing contest compared to the pvp one, no need for it in the town message. I'm running the Verdantis contest for this release only and the amount of text allowed in that message, is limited.

Speaking of which, I haven't been able to play hardly that last few days, so the daily pvp prizes have started to pile up. I believe it's at 7500 gold for getting killed by me and 17500 gold for killing me. I'll be on again this weekend

Edit: the 7500 gold was paid out just now, but the 17500 is still available.

Welcome to the monthly fishing contest instructions thread!

This contest is organised by Rajazel, The Town Museum and its Governor Diablotine.

R112 FISHING TOURNAMENT INSTRUCTIONS

-Time : March 31, 2023 at 12:00 AM CST (00:00) to April 26, 2023 at 11:59 PM CST (23:59)

***To help with times, use the chat command /time and look in your Misc chat channel category.
They will be no fishing contest on Release days.

Prizes for PVE:

-1st Place: Large Gold fishing trophy, 5000 Cotos
-2nd Place: Large Silver Fishing Trophy, 3000 Cotos
-3rd Place: Large Bronze Fishing Trophy, 1000 cotos

Water Type: Salt (water type will rotate each Release)

HOW TO PARTICPATE:

--To participate, players need to merely catch a trophy fish in any of the locations indicated above within the proper monthly timeframe indicated.

--All fish will have to be mail to @Diablotine via the in-game mail system. There will be no drop box for the fishes. All fishes will be returned after each month.

--Plz wait at the end of the release to send your fish so that you only need to send one fish.

--All fishes must be returned before 6AM CST on release days.

***I suggest you take a snapshot of your fish before mailing, for I am just a human and can make mistake.

HOW TO WIN:

• The first place winner will be the one that catches the LONGEST fish (just one) in any of the registered POT for the tournament during the allowed time.
• Prizes are also given to second and third place winners.
• Weight of fish has nothing to do with the contest.
• There are no cumulative / sums of values used in the contest.
• Number of fish caught has nothing to do with contest results.
• Players may win more then one prize, but only one per category.

POT REGISTRATION:

-- The main POT for the fishing tournament will be Rajazel, The Town Museum. Rajazel is located right next to Soltown, across the road.

-- POT Governors, stewards or any other person can ask to have a POT added to the contest for a Month. There is a entry fee of 1000 cotos per month. (Any registration during a release will be push to the next one)

-- If you are not a Governor or steward, you need to make sure the water type of the POT you sponsor will be set to what ever water type the tournament is on.

-- The entry fee will be added to the prizes.

***There will be a maximum of POT's per release. (Rajazel will always be there, but the maximum number of POT's as yet to be decided.

BOTTING IS PROHIBITED:

-Obviously, I have no way to check this, But I hope no one is Lame enough to Bot on a fishing contest (or on any other situation...)

DONATIONS:

-All donations are accepted and can be send to Diablotine by using ingame mail.
-Make note that any donations given during a release cycle will be used on the next release cycle.
-You can also specify on what category your donation wants to used.

R113: starting April 28 2023, at midnight.

-Will be Fetid water type
-Registered town so far : Rajazel (Diablotine), Arlia (Doktor Hirnbrand), M'hul Island (Asmodi M'hul), Soryn fields (Janzik)

Due to high demand in lava fishing this month, Inselberg Wastes as been added to the registered pots for lava fishing. Thanks to @Dorn Slate

Inselberg Wastes is nested in Vertas. Enter Vertas at the South Entrance then take the wagon to Inselberg. As you enter Inselberg take the sign post behind you and select "Lava Field". If it's your first time there the Town Crier is at Town Boundary 1 to collect your 250 Gold.
