[Mar 25th] Team PvP (Classic) at Ardoris Arena!! - COMPLETE!!

Ridge Runners [RR] Team PvP Classic!

When:Mar. 25th, 2023 (Saturday) 3pm - 5pm (CDT) or until complete!
Location: Ardoris Team PvP Arena

Prizes:
1st Prize: Sword in the Stone Trophy (Medium) to each team member and 100k Gold Coin for the Team
2nd Prize: Sword in the Stone Trophy (Small) to each member and 50k Gold Coin for the Team!
Participation Prize: Purple PvP Shard Trophy (for those who do not place)

Rules:
1. Participants will use the gear provided by the host for the event.
2. Only active participants are allowed in the combat arena.
3. Non-Participants and spectators will observe the fights from the designated spectator area overwatching the arena.

How to Register:
1. Message Lebu Lionheart in game, forums, or SOTA Discord with the name of your Team Captain and members. I am looking for teams in sizes minimum of 2 and maximum of 5.
2. Pick an armor type: Cloth, Plate, or Chain
3. Pick a craftable weapon/off-hand type (plus qty. for duel-wielders): wand, staff, dagger, etc.

Please register no later than 25 March 1pm (CDT)

How the Event is Conducted:
Teams will be assigned one of two sides (Red or Blue) to which to enter the arena.
Depending on the number of teams by size this will either be ran as a Head-to-Head or Bracket Tourny.

In the event of an odd number of a same sized teams (3x 2v2 teams) an in game roll will take place between Team Captains. A number between 1 thru 50 will be picked and the closest to that number will receive a "bye" on their bracket.

How to Win:
Kill the other team!!

How the Event is Scored:
Head-to-Head and Qualifying Match winners will be determined by whichever team achieves its designated score. Teams will win the match once they have achieved the kill count for their teams size (1 kill = 1 point):

2v2: 20 Points
3v3: 30 Points
4v4: 40 Points
5v5: 50 Points

The Semi-Final Rounds will be best 2 out of 3.

The Final Round will be best 3 out 5.
(Each round will conclude at the complete elimination of either team)

Lol thanks. It was a long day and I was very tired typing that up. It’s fixed now.

 

I have been in Ardoris several times but do not remember to have noticed a PVP arena. Where is it located in Ardoris? And where is the right entrance if I would like to observe as a spectator without risking to enter into the participants gate?

 

Just past the town crier and the oracle - next to the crafting pavilion is the entrance to the arena. If you get to the merchant square you went too far.

Combatants and spectators use the same entrance. Teleports inside to each side are for the combatants; dividing the teams.

 

On your compass and map is a point of interest maker (you more than likely have already discovered) named PvP Arena. It's south from the crafting pavilion.

 

Here is a map for reference on the Arena location. Please not the Green Arrow in relation to the Town Crier and Oracle.
