While I am sure this has been asked I didn't find it. If it is against policy, can I place houses on two different lots I have purchased on one account?

Cool. Was thinking of buying a village lot to farm. If I have two accounts, can I allow access to my "other" character. In order to "friend" someone to allow access, must they be online at the same time as you?

I think they would have to be. But we do not know for sure how befriending and houses will work. I would also think you should be able to run multiple instances of the game at once if your machine can handle it.

most likely they won't need to be online. you would just add the character to the kindred or friend list for the house. this is how it was handled in ultima online and star wars galaxies.

but they had to be online for that (or use too) you had to target them in UO.

Having more than one account is actually facilitated on the account page.
You can add another pledge to your account for family, or you can send one to a friend.

Yes you can have 2 accounts or 1 account with 2 deeds. However, I believe only 1 lot may be claimed per account during the land rush, so if you have 2 deeds on one account you will have to wait to place one until after the game launches.

Just to clarify... I don't believe having a second pledge on one account is the same as having a second account. This was essentially an early form of the gifting system.

    Aye NirAntae,
I myself have wondered if I needed to create a second e-mail address, or use a second credit card, or a second mailing address to insure that both accounts are treated as equals...
Any restrictions on human intent and real money usage would seem a bit odd of a behavior for any company to treat the second purchase as a second hand citizen and given only second hand rights in usage :(

The word "Quagmire" comes to mind with such needs because of restrictions...
"which I hope is not the case"o_O
    ~Time Lord~

I personally have 3 accounts with 3 different e-mails. If it's against TOS I am in trouble :)

    Hi,
if I remember correctly, it has been stated somewhere, that multiple pledges on one account are not supported for game accounts and need to be split up.
