    Yes. It was announced on April Fool's Day and you couldn't buy it on April Fool's Day, but they later announced both the hot tub and coconuts are real. Everyone gets the coconuts for free, and you can buy the hot tub.

    Well I must say I'm gobsmacked.
    This thread has been running just over 24 hours; the total raised has gone from around $3,858,000 to $3,955,000.
    That HAS to be a one-day record!
    Now being realistic this little effort might have accounted for 1% of that. Maybe. With luck. Most of it is people upgrading or making new pledges, and splashing out on telethon items etc. But every little brick in the wall counts!

    I just want to say, whatever the cause, What a community! Well done and congratulations one and all!

    I had just upgraded my pledge last week. I bought the cat, hot tub, and easter basket so far, but I too am about tapped out.

    We are so close, wish I had a spare 40,000 or so well that I didn't need that is lol

    It is overall one of the nicest and most supportive communities I've been a part of - I and my new virtual kitty (to go with the four real ones) are very happy to be a part of it and can't wait for the game to be finished! If I had a few hundred going spare I'd love to have given more, but maybe Kitty and I will have a house in episode 2 instead. :) As Asclepius said, every little bit counts, and lots of 'little bits' soon add up to a lot. So well done, everyone, for raising almost $4m so far!

    I would love to see the one day total for yesterday. I would not be surprised if it sets the record or at least comes close! I ended up upgrading my account last night to Knight. My husband and discussed it for awhile about whether or not we should. In the end we could not decide so we ended up doing a coin toss haha! Hopefully I will not end up disappointed but I think this game has potential so we will see!

    I'd like to see that, myself. I bit the bullet and pushed into "Knight" status. Don't think I can make the next leap. Might have some fun money coming for some smaller add-ons, though.
