    Hello Community.

I am a person who loves harmony and in some degree of sence in regards to the land i will run around in our game i thought i look if i am alone with some of my taste.

So here are my questions to you to find out what you think.

I just want to find out if we might have a high amount of players thinking the same but we all are not aware of it.

    I voted

The ones I feel strongest about would have to be these 2:

    * Yearly event items should only be placable outside if it is actually that event time

    * I want a limitation of pets running around on a house lots

    Lag plus tackiness, no thankx

I myself realy hope i never will see a lighthouse on a river. I am sure if it is possible it will happen. For me it is almost like seeing a fish flying in the air.

But this pole has time. R5 is starting.

This thread looks like the beginning of SotA's first Home Owners Association.

I feel it will be almost impossible to not have HOA of the Avatar. LOL

But honestly i am doing this more because of the atmosphere the game will deliver.

I mean back in UO they had to create more and more rules for the player housings.

The players could place houses on there own and for example did block dungoen entrances with it. Or created some motives on the roofs placing items to create wonderful zensored pictures.

I am sure there will be coming alot of rules we are not even aware of currently. For the sake of the game.

Trust me, the more you fight to get Xmas decos off someone's lawn the more they will flood their lawn with Xmas decos 24/7.

For me, Xmas decos, Easter decos, Hanukkah decos, *HUMAN EARTH HOLIDAYS* have *NO PLACE* in a universe and world where these holidays should not exist. I know the Avatar is from Earth, just because he's from earth doesn't mean he has to empty the crud out of his garage and haul it into the New Britannia.... it's like the opposite of the Time Machine where the guy only brings a few books, in New Britannia the guy brings the crud he left in his storage unit locker. To assume these New Britannians would be cool with earth holidays is weak, I don't mind holidays, as long as they are exclusively New Britannian, Novian holidays.

But the thing is... the more we fight against lighthouses in lakes the more it will be a permanent feature in the game, the more we fight against Human Earth Holiday decos on lawns all year round the more these things will end up being in the game forever, ruining immersion, ruining the atmosphere, this isn't UO, the holiday junk ticks me off to be honest, I don't think Ultima VII when I see the same stuff in the game that I see at every grocery store and supermarket in town.

I don't have an HoA, and would never buy a house in a neighborhood with an HoA.
I bought the land. I bought the house.
You don't get to tell me what I can do with it.

Try and I put 1000 internally lit pink flamingos on my front lawn.

No worry. I only responded with a joke to someone else starting this HOA.

But if you place 1000 flamingos on your front lawn not only my computer will crash, but also yours.

And creating a pole is actually the opposite of telling someone what he has to do.
Its is asking you about your opinion.

" I do not like if to many same type of houses are close to each other." It depends for me of the kind of house. I can think that that is normal for tradicional style houses. But a lot of weird towers or castle style together can be weird.

"The Founder Lighthouse should not be able to be placed on a river or little lake." --> Wow! Is winning that. You know, that make me happy. ;)

I wish they would have some tight rules on house plots...but unfortunately I don't see them doing that.

I'd prefer to see houses in an area look more similar, not less.
