Dungeon Combat Not Working

    Party/player moves to distinct, separate game engine for combat

    The dungeon combat is just not working, we need to move to a separate battle space for fighting as in Realms Of Arkania because even just two of us kept getting in each others way and couldn't see a thing, the monster and the two players were all in the same square because of the lack of room, we couldn't even see the monsters health bar let alone each others health.

    This game should have been isometric 3D which would have solved so many of the current problems; however, whats done is done but the dungeon combat has to remove to a devolved battle space.

    Going to go out on a limb here and say...not happening. What they could do is look at more dungeon space that is a bit bigger....

    I suggest that they would then say that atmosphere would be lost.

    Got to agree that an isometric view isn't going to happen. But why not provide an above-the-head forward perspective of the combat zone specially if you're with a party?

    I have to say that dungeon combat as it is right now is really not appealing me for many reasons.
    But well its a work in progress, hope they solve the issues soon.

    Bad Avatar control, reactions are very slow.
    Its almost impossible to run, character gets blocked with scenario items so easily.
    Dungeon doors are too small.
    When fighting in corridors you see nothing but your back.
    Many times your line of view is broken by scenario elements.
    I found as well that changing target is a bit messi.

    I don't think we need an isometric view, I would suggest something like "Age of Conan" they solved quite well those situations.
    In Age of Conan combat is vibrant and very agile, and you have a nice perspective of the situation.
    If PVE is that dull I just cant image PVP inside a dungeon in the actual conditions.
