The windows is a downside for me with the Founder Version, I love me some windows but I am holding out to see it during the release. But I'll keep my trap shut anyways because I'm sure the wall hanging space is more important to others anyways.

Can you actually see out of the windows? I have to admit, so far I have paid no attention whatsoever to that specific design element. :p

Yes, one of the photos in the original post shows the outside through one of the windows.

I also recall it amusing to be able to look into windows in one of the earlier releases and seeing what was going on inside.

Probably going to need to ask for some sort of curtain object in some future release. :)

I was pretty sure the windows were one-way out only.

Hmm... Perhaps I am mistaken then.

I was certain I looked through some window, maybe it was a NPC static building then. :)

I believe that windows were one way only for right now. I can't remember if I did see any information on it or not, but I thought I heard mention of them correcting that so you can see both ways.

I actually really dislike the LotM castle. The actual building isn't that big, and the walls really bug me, making the entire area between the walls and the building feel like wasted space. The home itself feels very isolated and secluded. Cool I guess in real life, where you don't want the peasants breaking down your doors, but it's super annoying having to run across all that extra land just to get to the door of your home. Plus there are no angry peasants in video games.

Then again, even if the LotM house were the greatest thing since sliced bread, I'd not buy it in a million years. That's a pretty sizable chunk of a down payment on a real house...

I wouldn't buy LotM but I sure would take it if offered :)

Edit - I'd just need to buy a portal from the front of the bridge to the front door haha.

If I had the castle though I would make something for community access in the town, it's too big to keep to myself.

Edit2 - I think I'm going to have to go with Lord House now which makes me sad I won't be using my Lordly Houseboat (attached to my Town Level Property )

I got to see these houses in the game now :)
The Founder's Lord House, Very nice. Still too open for my taste nevertheless. Opportunities to put some little rooms under the stairs (or secret doors opened with bricks)
The Benefactor's Lord House. Exquisite. Gorgeous. Wonderful! Rooms, yes, secret room yes! Couldn't explore the third floor as it seems to be full of holes thus far, but I saw enough of it to decide it will be my home for sure!

Excellent work on these new houses!
