I wonder what happens if you kill Myra. Does the quest reset or does she complain that you killed her too?

 

I don't like quests where you kill people and someone is sad about it.

I usually kill them and when I find out it was wrong I'll reload the game, but this game doesn't allow you to do that so ...

 

Goodbye R7, I will miss thee.

I held a bit of a spiritual revival in my front yard. A great and uplifting time was had by all. I grew to love my little Edelman house...maybe could use a little loft? And couldn't place a damn thing on the wall on right (when you enter)...

I ran into this guy the other day outside Kingsport. He was aloof, but I tried to bring him out of his shell.

We ended up having a bit of fun together and parted. I will remember you Kemosahbee.

This monstrosity was really something in Paxlair/Valemark. I have to say it was done VERY well. And, when I got to the top I was given a wardrobe! Really, well done guys!

Then had a bit of a treetop experience with some friendly folk. Very cool.

As the end neared, the streets emptied. Even Street Cow went home. I will miss you Street Cow. Release 7 was great fun, after I was able to play!

 

This particular quest didn't sit well with me because I don't like killing someone, even if they ask me to. I was hoping for an alternate ending, and by looking
at the journal, I think there is supposed to be one but seems incomplete.

 

There certainly is another ending, which I have seen (however this time I just had to take the Myron going down in flames option). Myron might want you to kill him but that does not mean you HAVE to.

It is a pickle for sure, Do you give Myron peace at the expense of his sisters opinion of you, or do you leave him to his misery in the Prison (you could try explaining his wishes to his sister when next you see her)?

As a spiritual successor to Ultima, I would advise getting used to dilemmas that don't always finish at the end of a rainbow. Your Virtue shall be tested!

 

Maybe we can just let is BURN!!!! Only you can prevent cabinet fires!

 

Lum says it isn't, but I'm not surprised this happened to you.

 

As it is now, Myra doesn't really respond to the fact that Myron wants to die and he tossed the key away. She just gives the same response over and over again about she already gave me the key so
I need to free him. The dialogue itself needs to reflect the discussion had with Myron, which is also clearly indicated in the journal. Then at least. I can live with the idea of just leaving him there.
But as it is now, it feels somewhat incomplete.

Edit: I've also been down that road concerning moral dilemmas with the Ultima series. I still remember how I felt when I played Ultima 7 serpent Isle when Dupre committed suicide by jumping into the crematorium. I kept reloading the game thinking that there was an alternate to this scenario. After finally accepting the fact that this was the way it was to play out, I felt uneasy for the rest of the game, like I just lost a close companion. I always told myself that one of the Monks will just resurrect him later in the game, but that naturally never happened. Still one of my favorite ultimas.

 

And so the journey home ends, with one last trick in Kingsport and a view arriving to Brave Coast from an island.

So R7 ended and the last defender of Owls Head got booted by the end of this incarnation of the world.
But I took some impressions with me, a few to present to you. The strangest things happened again.

In the beginning of this world was the pink.



The world began to show up.


In a strange cave I found a shady merchant, doing shady businesses with ...




The place was not very convenient, so this had to be debated finally in the tavern. Thomas, the tavern keeper, was sent away to keep the secret undisclosed.




Mirror mirror on the wall - empty is the paperdoll?




PaxLair laid the foundation of one of its main attractions and its black hole:
The Maze!


But Riya showed, that she has the talent of prophecy.



Oh well, how true. I returned and ... couldn't see the maze!



So we played the game "Where is the maze?".
Darkness fell in, and Riya began to levitate.




And up she went ...

 

But now even the moonwalker appeared!



Only I could not fly - must have been the plate armor?



Holy Net!



Running away ...



Sunraise ... the moonwalker is still there.



Just on another day: Riya's maze reappeared for my eyes.
