Was trying to spar with my teammates in PvP zone when of course someone had to interfere. But interestingly the tactic he employed once damaged was to run to the entrance of the instance right where you start fading out of the scene. While on the "lens closing" board he stood there and healed got his buffs ready while he was unable to be attacked. And this is why i'm not a big pvp fan.

Yeah, they'll fix that. It's good to call it out though.

I've seen a few guys do this too. Speaking of the "end of the zone", I'd really like to see it more clearly marked. Sometimes I'm not paying enough attention and walk out of the zone when I'm really only trying to explore.

Heh... I more often have the opposite problem. I'm trying to get *out* of a zone and keep running into a tree wall.

People are going to run for the zone ends when dying means getting looted or ransomed, so be prepared for that

Exploiters are gonna exploit! For all the PVP. 'Nobility' that has been spoken of so fondly; this weekend has brought out exactly what can open world FFA environment can expect.

I call this a success, not just because the combat is getting fun, but also because the actual behavior is being observed before release.

    Better to catch it now.

Yeah without a "true death" when not simply sparring, real new britannian legal ramifications of murder and theft, a large portion of PvPing and PvPers (ive observed a bunch who seemed to really keep it organized and tasteful) will lack honor and meaning. The realism craved by PvPers should have real game consequences as well.

If you are not a fan of pvp due to people using exploits and bugs Malchor1 how do you feel about scummy behaviour with crafting or pve?

Which is why i also hope for strong NPC stores and shops so i can limit potentially shady business encounters

Yeah, too bad you only saw what you wanted to. Sure there were the folks that confirmed every fear that my little ******** mind ever had but I met some great (albeit bloodthirsty) players in the PvP zones. Abovenyquist, that fireball in the back while I was trying to kill John Connor was going to get you a Vanduul polearm in the face and then you decided to help us defend the boat!

There wasn't much piling on happening and people didn't get rez-camped (OK except that one guy who refused to stop killing everyone who went AFK.)

It was not uncommon this weekend for me to look at Espada, Slumlord, Spaz and others and say "Want to wipe that party over there minding their own business?" Bloodshed ensues.

It was fun trying to fight you off! Next time I see you and Espada I am going to bring as many as can fit in the zone! For those of you reading this, I think we'll still be overmatched! You guys are great.

2v1's are really tough with most any build at the moment. We got squashed by a lot of zergs on the beaches. Problem with doing good in PvP is that you get a mark on your head. I got spawn camped so much by teams! Kinda funny getting 7 lightning bolts to the face right on spawning. Just stand there frying back to zero

I saw what I didn't want to see.... Wasn't hard to find either.

Most all participants were great, but the bad apples were represented quit a bit. You should read some of the other posts. My experiences were not isolated.

I don't think they were. I just think that you don't want to like it. No one is saying that you have to but I don't think you're being fair and that is also your prerogative.
