If you're going to Dragoncon, you'll be able to see them speaking on all sorts of topics all weekend. But if you're in Atlanta and *not* going to Dragoncon, you will want to check this out. The talk is free and open to the public. (I include some parking info below -- alas, parking is likely not free.)

"Video Game Development: Past, Present, and Future"
    Georgia Tech, Clough Commons 152
    4:00 PM, Friday, August 29.

    Here are the official details.

Here's a map of the area. The Clough Commons is in the upper right corner; if you are driving, your best bet is the Student Center parking shown in the lower left.

Forgot to mention another option is MARTA. If you're taking MARTA, you'll want to go to the Midtown MARTA stop, and take the Tech Trolley from the Midtown MARTA trolley stop to the Student Center trolley stop.

Will there be a webcast of this talk, either live or recorded?

We did record it; when we get something posted, I will post about it here.

I think the talk went very well. We had an audience of around 130 people, mostly undergrads I think, which is pretty impressive for late Friday afternoon on a Labor Day weekend!
