Very disappointed from Portalarium (Black Friday Update)

    The I am stupid. I do not see where it says if you buy store credits you get store credits.pledges, upgrades ,add on items player towns . Where do you see store credits?

    I played pen and paper d&d this would not fly with my dm he's a like a damn lawyer lol. Maybe I was blonde in a past life lol!

    I will tell you now why this is an exploit. I upgraded to duke and spent 3700.00 used for my upgrade. Let's say I would have bought store credits and then upgraded to duke?

    Then sota would have to give me over 1000.00 usd... That means my 3700 would fetch me the bonus twice .

    In my book that is exploiting a rule .

    EDIT:

    If you wanted to do Duke in store credits ($3700) then it would be (3700/115)*100 = 3217

    So 3217 credits needed, you would then get 15% so 3217*15% = 482.

    Add the two together and you get your 3700 (rounding)

    First purchase store credits. 3700 x .15= 555
    Second purchase duke 3700 x .15 = 555

    I just milked soya for a free 555 by buying credits first. Does the original poster really mean he expected the bonus twice ?

    I see what you mean now. This is an interesting question.

    @DarkStarr

    If a user purchases a pledge upgrade or an Addon Store item using store credit, does that get the 15% bonus also? Is there a system in place to prevent people from double dipping by getting 15% bonus buying credits, then an extra 15% bonus when buying the pledge upgrade using the credits?

    The OP isn't asking for the bonus twice. He was just upset that the original advertisement for the promotion said you could spend the 15% bonus on the Stretch Goal Store when in fact you cannot do that.

    OP was simple. Wanted to use store credit bonus for stretch goals. The site originally said you could do that. Then the site removed stretch goals. That's his beef. Devs acknowledged the error and will take care of the OP.
