This one is from the end of the challenge dungeon. Not massive for visuals, but was a fun group.

(edit: also, just to re-iterate what I said in the pic. Chris needs an RP alter ego plus a cape. Team Chris! No one else? Just me?)

 

The row houses seem small, but you can get quite a lot of stuff in them! I really like all the rugs, it makes the place look very cozy. The bunk beds are a great idea - is that a specific item, or two regular beds stacked up?

I do hope we might have a bit more variety in paintings by launch, though, so we don't need to repeat the same ones throughout the house - I'd really like to see tapestries, wall hangings and maybe curtains too. An option to dye bedlinens and perhaps some other things, so we don't all have to have identical furnishings, would be great!


I really like the lighting in-game, especially shadows and lamplight at night, and sunrise... I don't have my graphic options turned up high but I still think it looks nice. Morning light is especially lovely, just like in the real world.

 

The bunk beds are a single piece, not 2 beds stacked. There are more paintings in the game already, but I couldn't find any on vendors. I have seen them in others' houses though. I have also seen hanging rugs, although not sure where to find them either. I think everything shows up randomly on vendors for the most part, unless craftsmen sell their wares to the vendors, but I'm not sure.​

Just had a stab at the compendium with Saesa, Experior and Tarsin. Great fun guys! As you can see we made it to the Lich room where we discovered much butt hurtiness! Many thanks for the ride everyone!

The lady found a new area since the last time she visited New Britannia. "What is this?" she pondered, and entered into the ominous looking building that read in Runic, 'Obsidian Keep'.


"Oh," she smiled upon entering the area, "this looks quite inviting!" Her eyes widened as she looked to and fro at the landscape that sprawled before her.




Fireangel saw the intriguing castle towers on the horizon, and headed toward them enthusiastically. She put on her helm and readied herself for what might pop out of hiding to ambush her. Her excitement was high.


The petite lady saw a long sedentary fellow as the magic of combined realms captured an image for the ages.


Then she continued forward...

 

Fireangel found a soothing pond, and the lady played the frog. She sought out a lily pad. Alas, it would not hold her. She waded a bit, cooling herself in the heavy armor.


Over the next hill, her enthusiasm waned a bit as she saw a strange sight. "This doth not bode well," she said under her breath.


"Oh dear..."


"These are not the droids I was looking for,..."




"Now I feel quite silly!"


It was then that Fireangel headed to the bridge she saw. She was not disappointed there. Things began to make sense once again as she strode across, ready for battle.


One down and then one more, the lady felt herself invigorated, and strode ahead to fell an archer and cross a drawbridge.


Toasted like a marshmallow in the earthly realm, Fireangel took more caution before she entered the forbidding Keep.



She soon entered the Keep, where she was forced to run for her life from the mobs. She soon found a way up to the top ledge...

 

Fireangel was successful at taking down one mage. The second assaulted her. She was ready.



Two mages down, the lady knew she could not go back into the mobs with any hope of sole survival. She found a back way out of the Keep, and called it a good day.


It was then she noticed that somehow she had the wrong shield with some chagrin. "I must have sold the good shield in error. Of course I would make such a foolish mistake. Who knows how much better I should have fared with the proper shield before me." Behind her helm, she blushed.
