What happened to the music?

Release 11 had more of a variety of different tunes, it seems in release 12 there's the same 5-6 songs that play over and over.

 

Oh I love the music so much, the other music we had while interesting could get nerve wracking. I know to each their own, but the game play was so much better without the music taking over my thoughts and just playing lovely songs.
Sorry if you don't like it, but I was just loving it and thought it was an awesome change.

Would it be possible to somehow include an 'upgraded' version of the Ultima 6 Character Creation song (fingers crossed, that it's not locked by some licensing agreement) ?

That's one of the best legendary music I've ever listened to...

 

I'm falling asleep after a while, music is nice, but too repetitive.

 

I like the new music, it reminds me a little of EvE Online's sound track; but it is rather laid back and gentle. However I suspect eventually we'll have set music for set scenes, so high octane music for combat again, and the current peaceful, spacey tracks for elsewhere.

And agreed on Ultima VI character creation music! Although I must admit I have an entire playlist for Ultima IV to UO tracks, there's just too many amazing pieces in the catalogue to do more than marvel at them one after another...
