What am I missing here about using a deed?

    I just started kicking the tires again. I am a Knight-level founder, and in my inventory I have a "Knight Founder (Village Deed)". I also have one for a village water deed.

    When I finally find an open village lot and it asks me if I want to claim it and have a deed.... this doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong? These are presumably my Knight level founder rewards which includes a village deed, but I can't seem to use them anywhere.

    There are two deeds you require...the 'Lot' deed and the'house' deed. Double check exactly what deed you have n your pack, there is a chance you have the wrong deed and need to collect the 'Lot' deed from the bank.

    It should say something to the effect of Village Rent Free Deed. I forget the exact wording....but it should mention "rent free" in the name.

    Thank you. That was it. I didn't pull that one out of the bank in addition to the village water house deed, so once I had it I was able to claim the lot. :)

    When so many people have to ask this question, it is a pretty clear signal that there is a flaw in the execution. The Devs really need to have a look at this and figure out how to make it more intuitive.
