Request: Wireless Device Upgrade

    Request for an upgrade:

    1. Volume Control: Allows user to expand the range of this device to the entire scene. This would allow me to hear it through out my basement and not just in one room.
    2. Broadcast Mode: Allow the user to broadcast the sound from this device so anyone that enters the area can hear it without having to click on it.
    3. Multiple Channels: I don't like country music.
    4. Travel Mode: Allows the owner to hear the music wherever they go in the game.

    :)

    The pledge version of the radio should stay exactly at it is because it is special designed, coded and supported by the community. That is priceless.

    But better yet, the devs could add those features to different craft-able radios, so maybe each type radio has differing looks and characteristics.

    Absolutely, then those who complained about anyone else receiving there reward wouldn't but people could have a useful in game device of there own :)

    For the record I don't want to force anyone else to listen to the device. I was just suggesting that if they choose to enter the same area where it's on that they would have to make a choice "Do I stay and listen?", "Turn my 'music' sound off on the tools menu?" or "Just leave the area?"

    It seems like a reasonable way to approach the situation. Just like in real life if you enter a room and you don't like the music, what do you do? Run to the "real-life" forums and ask the "developers" to change the music? No, you just walk out of the room and say "wow that was horrible music".

    Baron I have to LOL that you are always pushing realism in game, to your credit, but here you're pushing for stereo throughout your house without any speakers. We don't even have that in 21st century real life.

    I love Van Halen, but everytime I tell someone that I feel like I'm having this conversation.



    Yes I know it's Zeppelin in the video. This kind of makes me want to do a parody of this video with my character and that Automation. heh

    Depending on how well the instruments are developed, maybe we will just need to ask for a recording and playback device like a jukebox.

    I would just like the option to hear any radio automatically without having to find a radio and click on it.

    Perhaps it could be carried in our inventory and clicked to turn on and off there as well as in our homes.

    Well i'm more talking about a radio that is turned on in any location and automatically hearing it as I get within hearing distance.

    If there was an option "I do not ever want to hear any sound from the wireless device" I would totally agree with you.
