House Lot Paver Calculator Tool

Hi Everyone,

I have created a new tool called the SotA House Lot Paver Calculator. This tool allows you to drag and drop various paver sizes, types, etc. onto a House Lot. It will then calculate how many sets of Pavers you will need to purchase.

Please check it out and provide me with any feedback!

Features:
- Supports all current House Lot sizes
- Determines Paver sets based on 4 large and 8 small pavers per set
- Is aware of current prices and in-game $0 pavers
- Drag and drop UI
- Tablet / mobile friendly

Future features:
- Don't allow overlapping pavers
- I'm hoping to obtain house footprint data from Portalarium to allow the selection of house type to place an outline on the house floor plan/footprint to place into the house lot space.

5/28/15 Update:
- Placed all Paver types in the pavers toolbar on the side of the map. Previously you had to select one Paver Type at a time, then re-select to drag different paver types.
- Improved shading/lighting on the paver tiles

10/12/15 Update:
- Updated to reflect price changes to pavers in store

If you haven't followed my other tools, please check out my Player Owned Town Calculator. I will be making updates to it soon as well. I'm hoping to obtain more POT layout information and build a similar tool for POT.

Thank you everyone for the positive feedback. I'm already looking at posting an update (hopefully by Saturday). It will include:
- Streamline the interface (working on placing all the paver types in the Pavers section to drag and drop from)
- Updating paver graphics for a cleaner look (some pavers are on the dark side)
- Not allowing pavers to overlap

 

All, I've made a few updates to the tool. I appreciate the feedback, please keep it coming either by posting in this forum or sending me a PM.

Tried the tool with IE, Firefox, and Chrome all up to date. None will allow the drag operation. I selected a town lot and then tried to drag, no luck. Did a reset and selected a different lot size. Still no luck. Tried multiple time with multiple browsers. Nothing worked

 

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm looking into this, it appears something broke with IE and Chrome with the latest updates. All appears to work with Safari.

 

It's now fixed, I've tested in Safari, Chrome, and IE. Thanks again for the heads-up.

I've updated the calculator to reflect price changes. Somehow I missed the announcement for these price changes. Enjoy
