Title: "Royal Elderberry" does not provide a seed back upon dye creation
    Reproduction Rate: 100%
    Blocker? No
    Details:
    • The description of the "Royal Elderberry" reward is such :
      • "Utilizing the Royal Elderberry to craft the dye will also bear a single seed which can be planted and harvested, over and over, for all eternity."
    • Slight problem is under the current implementation, it is possible to not receive a seed upon harvesting, or when the berry is crafted into a dye bottle.
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Acquire a "Royal Elderberry" seed
    2. Acquire a planting pot, a lot on which to place said pot, and various agriculture items.
    3. Plant the seed.
    4. Wait until the plant reaches maturity
    5. Harvest the plant
      • You will receive at least one berry (possibly more)
      • But you will not receive a seed back (or it is highly unlikely you will do so)
    6. Use the berry in a "Royal Purple Dye" recipe
    7. Observe that you now have no berries at all.
      • This contradicts the "for all eternity" portion of the reward description.
      • So... I think something is amiss.

Reading the recent R26 instructions, it is possible I did not go far enough when testing.

From the sounds of the instructions, the seed is generated when I *use* the dye bottle itself ?

I did not try that step, and will have to do so tonight to verify. :)

That is the correct step. Upon dye consumption, a new seed will appear.

This essentially means you cannot sell the dye itself, but only sell items dyed with it, or you will lose your pledge reward. That... seems wrong.

I agree, it is non-obvious, which is what was throwing me off during testing.

I'm sure it will be a lively thread once brought up in the Feedback forum. :)

Guess option would be to have Royal Elderberry dye spoil after 1 day.

So you harvest get mats for dye and a seed
sells the dye and plant the seed
and if dye not is used within 24 hours its go useless.

I get 2 plants from the seed. Does that mean I will get 2 seeds when using the dyes?
