Not trying to hijack your thread, but I wanted to say that I've made a Leather Armour Crafting Calculator based on the data I've observed in-game. Not fancied up the page yet, as I'm curious to know whether this would be useful to people before I put more effort in!

PS - Thanks to Pyrite for getting me the last Beetle Carapace I needed to finish my data set :)
Honador - if you're interested in seeing the items I made to get my data, let me know! You can usually find me in /n

eh well I'd thought i'd add the most beautiful looking armor which is made from Bronze. That's my opinion so far anyhow...

Quick question to those that have been crafting wands/staves. Is it accurate that using standard cloth vs carapacian cloth nets the same result?

Also I noticed that standard "Cotton" wasn't on the table you have; Do we know want stats this material gives on armor?

I did not make plain cotton as I thought it to be a waste of raw materials but I guess I have to make some to at least get the properties :)

Haha, it's cool. I just noticed it wasn't included but standard Leather was. Just trying to keep you busy =).

Great work on everything though, it's a great resource, I can't wait to see your list of properties on Melee weapons!

Could you clarify the hard-leather impact for bowstrings? Chart makes it look like a 500% increase (eg. 5X which would be huge). Likewise, it looks like supple leather provides half the damage boost of regular leather?

Also, just to be clear: Item Damage Resist means the chance the item will be damaged in combat, vs. Combat Damage Modifier which impacts how much damage the player receives? Sorry, but I think I remain confused on difference like Damage Resist vs. Damage Avoidance.

BTW - Great chart. Having to throw away all my previous spreadsheets, but such is life. Serious thanks!

Thanks. I saw the note about Bows looking odd. I'm not sure the targeting system in game would even allow for something 5X farther away then normal - line of sight alone would become a problem (I could see it shooting through hills for instance). And where a soft leather bowstring probably would perform worse than a normal one, its a surprise they included that (half the Weapon Critical Chance of the easier to make normal leather).

    Thanks again.
