hi, my apologies if wrong sub-forum. i did quick search and find no results. is there a way to /follow command possible turn macro on enemy creatures. eg. Pressing 'tab' to locate nearest creature but cannot see in the grass. so once creature 'targeted' can then '/follow' to walk towards that 'target' because i'm unsure of direction on my screen. hope that makes sense
They have not and do not want to allow players to follow targets, there are two skills that move you toward your target one is in the Heavy Armor - Body Slam, will move you to your target but have to be close. Shield - Charge. Subterfuge is your best choice to do just what you want with Engage Target
Try the Engage Target doesn't take much to get it up and it works nicely I have used it even at times when not in auto attack and have moved out of range
Well, if you're an archer or a mage, you could kind of just fire off a shot as soon as your glyphs start to light up without being able to see them. Kind of like heat-seeking missles - if you're in range.
this one. http://sotawiki.net/sota/Engage_Opponent ill report findings after skilling. Thanks Weins201
@ions83 I leveled mine up to about 20 and decided it wasnt for me. I have more fun with the other subterfuge skills. Id love to know what you thought of it if you got it up to a significantly high level.
I want to know which mob my targeting decided to select (which is usually Rabbits), but I also don't want it to become some sort of radar where you just stroll around the forest spamming the Tab key. I feel like Tab targeting should only work if the enemy is directly in front, in line of sight, if the enemy is in a lit area. If you can click on it with a mouse, though, then its guaranteed. There could also be rules where you'd lose your target if you lose light or get stunned, etc. That'd open up some interesting iterations.
a /face command could be created to be used in conjunction with /follow, to allow one to always be facing their target.
