luck of the draw with the mobs i guess. there are ways to sneak around most groups, or run past them if you can't sneak by without being noticed.. sometimes you will have to die and find an ankh to do so, but it should let you through with relatively little time lost.

see, everyone will be at the same ish level so there won't be a group of people with an advantage over others - except for their own skill at escape and evade tactics.

 

Only the highest tier backers will be claiming lots right at the start after wipe, everyone else will have some time to get levels under their belt and check which places they would like to claim if available.

 

I'm not wrong. The claim was day 1.

Kickstarter updates go right up to a couple of months ago btw. I would be interested to know when it was decided and or announced. After pledging back then I cam back to the game last month and it was news to me.

 

what you quoted has no bearing on what duke greagoir stated. he was talking about higher pledge people, you are talking about a lower tier.

your statement you quoted is still true, while his is as well. one will not cancel out the other - nothing to be concerned with.

 

If you click the drop down box it applies/applied to higher tier as well.

It's what was stated by day 1 which was the contention.

while not technically "day 1", this is the first official housing update, which occured during the active kickstarter month.

don't forget row. you can place any higher deed on a row lot to claim it, also.

 

He's quoting information from the kickstarter.. row didn't exist back then.

 

Anyone who spends any money just to but a location doesn't deserve that money they wasted!

Prime real estate today could end up in a ghost town tomorrow. Not even close to being worth any kind of money beyond your pledge.

Landmark was/is a cool idea/concept, it was fun when playing for a few weeks of a free beta, but I wouldn't pay for it. Too minecraft-ish in the fact that it seemed to only be a lego building game with no goals. But the terraforming was awesome I have to admit. Only MMOs I know of that have terraforming are; Landmark, Wurm Online, and Life is Feudal. Landmark having the most extreme degree of it, you can dig a tunnel very very very deep, designing your own custom basement from scratch, exiting to the sea or anywhere you like, great concept, but w/out a structure it's just the sims extreme edition.

 

yup, that is exactly the only reason why i'm contemplating if I should upgrade my village deed to something better, like town, or baron, to get more farming land, LOL

 

Unless there is a significant improvement to the agriculture user experience, I would not upgrade the deed just to get more farming land, though.

 

Here is a question and I won't lie I searched couldn't find anything to answer it immediately.

How are you going to be alerted to your turn to place a lot? Will there be some sort of msg to you or do you just have to figure out the time and money spent and sit at a lot clicking to see if it works?

 

No Alert planned you have the times listed that should be enough.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Port say your group/time would appear on your account page before Final Wipe? Then you would know your time for certain and could set your own alert.
