    I love musicals. I was weaned on them :) So the musical version of 21 guns is rather double delicious.



    And no one could play St. Jimmy better than Billie Joe Armstrong. Green Day = <3



    If you have never heard the full soundtrack, check it out. You might just be blown away by it.

    We did a marching band rendition of Jesus Christ Superstar, which was freaking awesome. And of course, anyone that hasn't had the chance to see Rocky Horror in person is missing out :p


    I'd also say that getting to see Cats and Phantom of the Opera live here in Atlanta at the Fox Theater were some of the best shows. Butler did great in the film, but it doesn't compare to being there :D

    The power of music, of song, of expressing human hopes and human anguish is summed up in this piece. Love it or hate it, it's a raw performance. And it's from a musical. And the last song I'll post today - promise...lol.

    Must admit my favorite part was the opening lead in song by JL. Very raw voice that makes it that much more "real" in my opinion.

    Goes back all the way to the legendary Nat King Cole (though DB's was an amazing cover).

    And 2016 needs to stop taking our great musicians already.

    I think this one fits as my theme song, as well as my song of the day.



    It also makes an interesting thought, of the new wave of Avatars saying it to the old Avatar.

    Wow, it's even better than the one I found. And interesting that George Harrison's son was in both. Prince did kick some serious ass on the guitar. Whoosh!
