Player Housing Update: Player Owned Towns, Player Run Towns, and Water Lots

Will water lot deeds ever be placeable on ice in winter scenes?

 

they already are placeable on the frozen lake in the Snowy Mountain template (says that in the new fancy descriptions on the form even!)

I am sure the answer is in one of the many lot topics, but I have not been able to find my answer. If one of you would not mind answering my question? I purchased the Edelmann Founder Pledge. It included the Edlemann House, and one land lot deed,tax free. It also included a Waterfront Cabana. It sound like I would have to buy a Waterfront Lot Deed separate for the Cabana. Is that correct? During the Land Rush, we get to pick our land lot, but not the Waterfront lot, is that right? We can pick our Waterfront lot later, after everyone has gotten a chance to get their land lots?

 

No - a founder deed can claim a Water Lot OR a Land Lot whereas a benefactor deed can only claim land lots.

You will choose either a water lot OR a land lot during your claim window with your edelmann pledge's founder village deed - either choice uses your founder deed, of which you only have one.

Since you have the Edelmann Founder Pledge the village lot deed that comes with it can be used to claim either a land or water lot both of which can be claimed during the land rush.

Not exactly. You'd have to remove the founder deed from your land lot and apply the newly purchased deed to reclaim it
Then go to get a water lot with your newly free Founder Deed.

 

Water deeds will not be sold in-game, the only way to claim a water lot will be to use your own founder deed, buy another RF or F pledge that has one, or trade for/purchase a founder deed from someone post-wipe who has chosen to sell.

 

Can these have the same tree crushing ability as the new and amazing craftable castle wall items?
If so, can the small and current large pavers get the same ability? Would be helpful till the mower shows up.

 

The small and large Pavers do now. From R27 they remove trees.

I've tested it with the stone crafted ones and it works beautifully.

Will prevent a Lot from going down but its a good start to the pre-mower days.

I see the costs for a player owned town.
How are the player run towns being allocated?

 

Player Run Towns are 'run' by the Game... The "Run" in PRT refers to the lack of NPCs and Story in these towns.
The name is now somewhat of a misnomer in that PRTs will now be functionally equivalent to NPC Towns with no story elements. (or trainers)

 

Guess the sale price and "meltdowns" have led to City Lots now being Sold out on Addon store.
