Poison Weapon changes melee attacks from Physical to Poison dmg

While fighting Undead skeletons, I noticed that when I applied poison to my axe that all of my melee auto attacks and special abilities became poison damage and I was 100% unable to damage undead mobs. Combat logs seen below. I also noticed if you apple poison to your wep prior to combat the affect does not always take.

Ah thanks. Submitted this when I woke up... failed the see the thread.

 

I tend to keep an eye on multiple bug sections so i just habitually flag these incase it makes it easier for the QA team to track issues.
