resolution settings don't save/load

1. Title: Game forgets resolution settings.
2. Reproduction Rate: 100%

4. Details: On launch, regardless of whenever or not you're in window mode or fullscreen, the game ignores previous resolution settings and defaults to native screen resolution. The toggle for "fullscreen" is also inverted. If you play with a different resolution than your native resolution, the next time you go to the video settings options menu, the game will reset to native resolution automatically.
5. Steps to Reproduce: Launch game, change video settings, quit, relaunch.
6. User Specs: 2013 model MacPro running last Mac OS X.

 

i still have this problem someone suggested trying the steam version, same issue, even when i change resolution of my desktop to the higher resolution i want, its stuck to 1280 by 720 no matter what i do. very frustrating. is there some ini file or something i can change?

windows 10 here with geforce 960 gtx. i had this issue on two seperate moniters one that is a 4k moniter (a dell) and previous moniter that was hd but an asus.

Edit turns out i just needed to change resolution on my desktop and relog .
