Still crashed upon scene changes

    While this new graphic setting make the game looks more dreamy and faster performance, my game client still crashed several time while traveling between scene. I guess Unity still hasn't give the engine patch, eh?

    Hmm, I'm having the same crash issues when changing many scenes, but my performance seems to be worse now that before. Much more choppiness and stuttering.

    Have you guys tried changing the graphic quality to something else then change it back to the original setting? I think there are new configuration in place.


    The error log that got dumped out after the crashes were still the usual access memory violation.

    The crahses I've seen going back and forth between Novia - Brittany - Brittany Alleys seem to be after the scene has loaded. My crashes are showing up after the loading page shows 100%. When I log in after the crash, I am loading into the scene I wanted to go to.

    Not sure if this helps, but the crashes from the outout.log file, the last thing that seems to be happening is that the chat is updating.

    Thank you all for reporting. We are aware that the crashing issues are still visible. We have had some forward momentum working alongside Unity toward finding a solution, but it is still currently known.

    Regarding performance: are any of you trying out the "Auto" quality setting in the Video options? This setting should automatically be adjusting different qualities that should improve performance across scenes.

    I'm sorry to say this but I don't think the crashing issues are in the realm of the general message 'they are inherited from previous releases and are still visible'. The game crashes are more numerous than before, now the game is crashing every few minutes. At least in live they were only occurring on scene changes. Now they occur out of the blue, at any time.

    I have restarted my computer and still crash when entering a scene. Relog, Enter scene.. Still crash.. Moved to another scene.. Yep Still Crash!! :(

    Same issue, I tried to get into Brittany, and crashed several times in a row. Then went to the hidden vale to see if I could access Brittany via Kingsport. I Crashed repeatedly trying to enter Kingsport yet
    experienced no issues with the boat transition between Novia and Hidden Vale.

    I applied "Auto" video settings as suggested above by Attenwood, then loaded into scene first try.

    Edit: then crashed again on the boat from Kingsport to Brittany... :mad:

    So far for me it only crashes on scene changes.
    The above crash occurred after spawning near Brittany, entering Brittany Alleys, running to Brittany Sewers, entering Brittany Sewers and then leaving Brittany Sewers, with no other activities, including no chat or friends list.

    Similar experiences as above. Regular crashing entering/leaving any scene.

    Quick question: has anyone created additional chat tabs? Beyond the two that the chat window normally has?

    Wondering I you crash more often with additional chat tabs. For me, whenever I switch so that one of the additional tabs has focus, I tend to crash more often. Was wondering if anyone else has seen this.
