    Does this look like a mage holding a staff or a barbarian with mage robes holding a club?

    I know the staff is considered a two handed blunt weapon in this game, but I'd love to see it wielded more like this as the primary function is a magic focus.

    Ideally I'd like to be able to use a spell book instead of a staff.

    +1000000 I feel like I'm playing baseball. I would never waste the precious durability of my staff by smacking someone with it! @matpsch Pretty please with cherries and sprinkles on top? I am not a fan of the fiery skulls either. Would rather see a gem up there. I'm no fire mage!

    I agree, it does look like your about to get ready to hit a Home Run.. the stance is all wrong.. the skulls should have a Gems in the eyes ( Black for Death, Red For Fire, etc... )

    or perhaps different staff with different looks. like the skulls would be good for Death magic OR Just a Jewel on the end for perhaps Fire magic.. etc...

    I agree. Looks like it is using the two handed bludgeon stance. The two handed pole arm stance is different and may be a better fit.

    Yes that's why I suggested different types of staffs.. Life should perhaps have a life symbol on the end or ankle symbol.. we should perhaps be able to dye them in the future..

    I personally think you would look great with a White staff with a large diamond on the top. :)

    Any self respecting Spell-Chucker is not going to stand like that. I prefer a tome also. A staff should represent the mage. Unless your all skin and bones, that staff is not gonna cut it.

    +10000 Yes! I want a gem on top or some varying staff looks. Plus it looks like a twig...many wizards have thick staves that double as walking sticks. It should have an out of combat walking stick effect as well :)

    I'm sure I saw some cool wizard guy in a movie doing some stuff with a ridiculously good looking magic getup... hmmm... and it was even a book before it was ever on the big screen... you shall not parse? was that it? no... wait... you shall not past? I'll remember it... just gimme a few minutes.
