    It cost $200 million to do SWTOR with full voice acting.

    I don't think you realize how expensive professional voice acting is for a game with this much dialogue. And then you need to translate it to other languages as well.

    Thats wy games like drakensange had full voice acting and a budged of 5 million a small crew . They didnt had a premade engine they made there own, and it is one of my all favorite rpgs.
    Given it is single player but still.

    A lot of design and development are truly chaotic. The sound at the moment is horrible. The enemy behavior is really bar minimal. And yes i know its a game in development.
    There are so much things at the moment wrong and only view right. And for the most part its stuff from the community. The music system the music it self. The only part i must give big credits to port is the housing system.

    If you are talking about this ...erh it's:
    • an action RPG mmo with 3D isometric view whose textures and assets are crappy (but they can afford it because we see them from afar so graphic rendering does not suffer from them)
    • a released game with some launcher bugs... which is far from being fully voice acted
    • not an open world, so it's very very easiest to build it.
    If you talk about this game, it is nothing like SOTA. That may be a good game in its category, but it's totally off topic.

    Voice acting may be for the in-game cinematics, but definitely not all NPC dialog.
