I tested to see if I get a message to inform me that the table is in use when clicking on a table someone else is currently using, but there was no message. It did actually allow me to use the table at the same time.

This is by design as far as I'm aware although it doesn't look very good.

I think they should restrict multiple people from using crafting tables at the same time. There are plenty of free ones around displayed by generous guilds you can use. Also, if there isn't any nearby, just log in as single player online and use it. It just looks awful having to craft with someone INSIDE you, urgh.

Glantor, I completely agree; not a test I'll be repeating. Since it did work, I wasn't sure if it's a bug or by design to allow. Hopefully, we'll get some feedback.

It's by design, or has been for many releases.

I for one would not like to have to wait in line or hunt endlessly for an open crafting table. It would be a game breaker for me and many others.

I'd rather see crafting tables become mini PVP zones before I had to spend 50% of my available time waiting for a table - only to find out I need more wax!

At present this is considered by design, if a little awkward looking. Thank you!

Reasonably certain this is a contradiction to the logic behind why having our own crafting stations was supposed to be important.

    I posit the following case:
Hi. I'm Jerky McJerkface. I run by and see a player dutifully crafting and switching between a refinement table and a production table. I'll just hop onto the Production table and sit there. Forever. And laugh and laugh and laugh as the player gets frustrated at having lost access to the table they were working on.

Do not underestimate the power of a griefer.

By design. We welcome feedback however in our feedback forum. :)
