I just listed it as a bug as it will not allow me to claim it, however it stated in yesterdays patch notes that it was in game.

When it lets you claim it and put it down, please post back here where, and keep it unlocked :)

The knotwork on the front is excellent. Valhold would look awesome filled with these types of houses.

Based solely on the images in the add-on store for the Viking Town and Viking City... I'm going to have to say, the Viking Town is a clear winner. It'll be nice to see them both in game and get a good look at their interiors.

I agree. The City home has a lot of blank walls from the front. Just adding some of the scrollwork to those corners would make them look much more attractive.

I checked this out in Owl's Head (LLTS uses it as a Chapter house). It looks good from the outside.. The layout on the inside is another matter. It will work well as a Guild Chapter house.
As a Home for a player, not so much. Portalarium needs to stop chopping up the insides of the houses into odd rooms.
Example: When you walk in the front door, you have a foyer (yay!) and a long room on the left and a long room on the right (bad). Right in the center of the bottom floor they put the staircase to the second floor.
I also didnt see anywhere suitable for setting up a bedroom or a dining area. The biggest usable space is the outdoor balcony/terrace on the top floor.

I'm hoping we will see craftable tapestries (particularly ones with our Coat of Arms or guild logos) that we can decorate the outside of our houses with.

I think it's great inside and out. This is probably the biggest house, in-game, that will fit on a town lot.

A lot of the bigger buildings are really strange desisgned and they allways mess up the staircases they allways take to much space away or are in the middel of the building

Thanks @Jupiter8 for setting that up. The Viking Great Hall City Home open 3rd floor is amazing. The top floor corridors are ... odd. Can't wait to see it decorated if that is what you will use.

I checked out this house while I was in Owl's Head, and I really like it! The rooms are not overly small, and there are some great alcoves to put decorations.

Really, I only have two complaints. Why, at the top of the first set of stairs, is there only a door on one side of the hall? Shouldn't both doorways have doors? Also, the "secret" door is not secret, as it is recessed and is quite observable. It should be flush, so it at least looks like a plain wall. Otherwise, great home!

I saw it at Owl's Head as well. Liked it and got one. Unfortunately I cannot move into it until the 24th.
