Question: Will in game be moderated like these forums?

And I dont want to be in a game world with people who have that attitude everyone has their opinion.

I agree, but lets not make this political lol, the thread will spin out of control! The point I wanted to make with this thread is that there are in game tools for those who get offended more easily, and want them to use them instead of wasting the time of devs for something they themselves can control. I wish there was an off topic forum for discussion on your point though. It would give an outlet for people to talk about this stuff.

The Terms of Service and EULA are very clear , if player would stop trying to read into things and "interpet" them to suit their desires it will work out.

If you fell you have been Jilted in game by a player, RECORD it and submit it and let the hammer fall or not. If the hammer does not fall then you are being petty, if ti does you will never now so . . . .

BTW Scamming in general means you violated a TOS in one way or another, even if you traded an item for cash and either took the cash and didn't not transfer or visa versa you are violating not only the trust of players but in the end will left in game by yourself as you reputation and name will get around and if Port finds out and verifies you made illegitimate trades you will be dealt with, try it be bold, see what happens Even if you "trick" a player into dropping a Ornate Crown, with an overweight slight of hand . . . . You will in the end lose.

 

Not sure how this relates to taunting on the pvp battlefield. I can agree with parts of your post though.

I know this was light hearted, but it does sort of illustrate the potential impact of over-moderation. We can' t have color anymore because people tried to grief each other with color?

I'm not a big fan of jerks, but if you want diversity and inclusiveness, particularly in a role playing setting, there will have to be some tolerance for jerks. Otherwise we just get gray quotes.

I would say this forum is kept laced up pretty tight but considering the state of a lot of other game forums I think it's a positive.

Some game companies have gone as far as closing their forums due to the kinds of abuse that can occur.

I'd just recommend a gut check when dealing in controversial topic or threads. If it feels wrong, it probably is, same goes in game.
