Gender selection?

I must be missing something.. When I go to the mirror for character customization, I only have the choice of Female.

 

When you type in your name you had a choice of gender.

Is it possible to change the gender later? - And I have to say, that I hate it to choose before I can see what are the visual options for each choice!

If I delete the char to redo it, before I claim any rewards will I keep my rewards or will I still lose them?

 

no. appearance can be changed, but name and gender are set.

if it's before you claim, it's fine. if it's after you claim, but you left/put them in the bank, it's fine.

 

Agreed that people usually like to see how the genders look in different class gear before selecting their name and creating their character.

 

Ah, thanks! - And after the look in the mirror I even realized that even my choice of name didnt match the gender, though I thought I did choose the right gender for the name...

And I must say, the visuals arent still not that great for the character creation and lack in variation...
