I believe Richard Garriott actually has the real one in his house, does he not @Baron Drocis Fondorlatos?

I remember seeing it in a video and it looked amazing, which was one of the reasons I have now bought two. Also, @DuKe NuKeM has a great point about these being sold multiple times leading to the thought that there's more than there really is. The fact that there are only 215 makes me feel much better about my purchases and now owning 1% of them :D.

The original one was owned by Rustic Dragon. It was a gun cabinet that he had converted to hold flasks of skittles that were supposed to represent the virtues of Ultima. When Rustic held his first telethon (which was epic) the devs said they would make a unique item for anyone that pledged $25 or more, and Rustic chose his cabinet to be that item.

I purchased two at the time, and years later sold mine for store credit that I used to upgrade my POT. I always thought it was very rare and the number 215 sounds correct to me. During the original telethon a few people bought one or two and one person I remember bought like 70. I don't remember who that person was, it's possible they sold off a large portion of those cabinets and made a nice bit of money, but who knows.

I don't believe RG has it now, but I could be wrong.

Richard is the current owner of the cabinet. It resides at Britannia Manor.

    *randomly rises from the grave*

Speaking of telethon, was that bread slug monster ever made? I remember a few sketches were made during the telethon and myself, Joseph/Rustic and Caleb/Lennenth were excited for it. I believe Bob made them.

    I had 3 basically.

One I got for the initial pledge/telethon reward. I got one for attending HoBLotH 2. My wife got one for attending HoBLotH 2 as well.

I gave one for free to @Time Lord because he is perhaps the most generous and virtuous member of the community. My wife wanted to sell hers and get cash to pay bills. I eventually caved and put it up for sale but didn't feel good about it. Then TimeLord rushed in, bought it and gave that one away for free to @redfish for equally being a virtuous member of the community.

    *polishes his cabinet of virtues*

I just think it's sad that most people here aren't calling it by it's proper name :( But what are virtues these days hu? o_O

I picked up around ten personally, and had most of them given away via irc as prizes a few Telethons back, in honor of Rustic's original event. I just wanted people to enjoy them, but realized that half of the winners would probably sell theirs (the money from the proceeds likely making its way back into the creation of the game).
