    Using the normal log in works fine. Loading times for Fields were past extreme but i am online!
    Not going to relog to fix the whit char bug though ^^

    Was 150-something in the queue, and once I got down to the 50s, I got bumped back out to login screen. Now I'm back at 120-something in the queue.

    Not cool, man, not cool.

    Now that they've gone persistent, Portal needs to spend some of that $10M on patch and login servers.

    It is resetting your Q because the game is only allowing internal testing.

    However perhaps they shouldn't let people in the queue who aren't supposed to be in the queue! lol

    No, it was like that right before the switch to R33, but after that many people have got in just fine. The login servers are just choking.

    No it is not. I log in using the normal way and I get held up in line. I won't use Steam or any 2nd or 3rd party to game. And remember this game is still very much under construction. Once they release, all this should be gone. If not, then we can complain.

    Yes but the login servers are intentionally throttled low to make sure they work.
    Most likely either
    1. They forgot to turn the numbers back up.
    2. They arent seeing enough queue times so they turned them down again.
    3. we are seeing another bot net attack that is burning up all the login spots.
    4. The game has gotten crazy popular in the last 24 hours and we are actually going to break 1,000 concurrent users.

    What are you referring to? Is this something with Steam and a download queue? I use the Shroud of the Avatar -Launcher and not Steam. Is steam the preferred way to do this? Mine has finally downloaded and is patching now.
