Tailoring masterworking

I can't masterwork epic leather gloves, normal cloth gloves or leather gloves, all of which I've crafted myself.

I could do them in R32, but they didn't break when masterwork failed, so I stopped masterworking altogether until R33.

My tailoring is on 85 and my masterwork is on 12.

 

Do you receive an error message when this occurs?

 

I tried it on leather boots and cotton gloves now.
"This recipe requires a Tailoring Masterwork Level of 25 or higher"
It gives this message with every item I've tried so far. How will I know what's a low enough level item to make to masterwork?
And if it requires lvl 25 masterwork and I can't masterwork something as low level as cotton gloves, how to I get the skill to rise?

Same issue. Same error as the OP. Picked up the skill a while ago, but never got silver to use the recipe until today. The prerequisite to use Masterwork Tailoring Upgrade recipe shifted from Tailoring 25 to Masterwork Tailoring 25, therefore locking anyone below that threshold out of using or advancing the skill since it is impossible to raise without use of that skill.

This effect is also happening to blacksmithing, tried to masterwork a +1 and a 0 Two Hander and gives the same message.

 

Since the last patch, they've added this to the list of known issues. Patch Notes | Shroud of the Avatar

I'm now happy they're aware of it, and know they'll work on getting the problem solved.
