Braemar Bodan Quest

Bodan does recognize when you killed the wolfpack leader.

sigh... I guess I should just search each quest before beginning to see if it is currently broken. I have been very positive with all of the development in this game to this point. I am really disappointed that somehow all of these quests that have worked almost flawless to this point is currently broken. What happened?!?!? It seems like this should not be an issue at this point. All of these worked great in the past. Now when people are actually needing these extra experience points to level.. there seems to be issues.

Is there a list of the few quests that actually do work?

 

Sorry for the rant.. Just had to release some steam. I know how difficult getting all of the correct is. Thanks for the hard work making this world happen.

 

Yeah I just wasted about an hour trying to complete this quest because I need the xp. Can we have a list of quests that work or something?

 

Went and killed a couple wolfpack leaders today.. checked to see if it would accept... It did.. Quest complete.

Try it again. May work now.

 

Actually no, at least not for me.

Details: As said above, Bodan won't accept that the wolf has been killed.

This quest is not broken. You have to have credit for killing the wolfpack leader, which means that you need to be close to it when it dies. Just being in a party will not help, you have to be close to where the wolf dies. You will get a journal entry telling you to see someone in Braemar if you have gotten credit for this.

 

Also, don't sell any wolf's heads before you speak with Bodan after killing the wolf pack leader.

 

I'm having trouble with this quest myself. I have killed the leader at least 8 times over a few weeks.
One occasion my party mate got credit but i didn't, so i tried later by myself, and now have killed wolf pack leader three times all by myself with no other players, in group or not, around.
Kills were performed at melee range. I did not sell anything between kills and returning to Bodan.
My journal entry is still saying to kill the wolf.
Bodan is still saying i need to kill the wolf.

I have tried wolf, pack, leader dead, killed, and an assortment of other keywords.

Thanks for your effort on SoTA, loving it despite a few hitches here and there.

 

Maybe you have to get a head... possibly a head not dropping all the time. Just thinking out loud... (or in writing)

i've killed the wolf leader several times, received no heads and have not progressed the quest line

 

I killed the leader a couple of times. It only worked the last time, when I killed the pack before the leader.

 

Hm, ok maybe I should try that next - otherwise I have the same problem as the others, were it isnt recognized - and I havent sold any heads I have gotten.
