    In case things don't work out. Things can end badly for a really bad employee who relocates for a small peas position like QA.

    That said, a ton of people would be willing for no relocation bonus whatsoever.

    Austin is 31% cheaper than Seattle.
    Housing is 46% cheaper in Austin.

    Using these metrics I would need a yearly salary of $161K to maintain my current standard of living. I eagerly await your decision.

    It'd be the difference between getting payed well and not really liking your job, and being paid enough and loving what you do. I'd take a considerable pay cut to work on something like this, but I just couldn't relocate.

    I agree but I also disagree. This is the same argument made to outsource jobs overseas.

    But the main thing is when trying to do a lot with a small number of people, the instant ability to walk to someone's office and sort things out is more valuable than a warm body.

    Calm down. This is an international game with an international Community so questions like that aren't surprising.

    A bit disappointed. I kind of expected at least a reply of "thank you for your interest", but I never even received a confirmation email of receipt of application. Guess I expected too much.
