Multiple town entrances, please!

    Another possible way to implement this:

    Default Entrance
    Pressing E or left-clicking Enter from the overland map brings you to the default entrance to the scene, as it does today. This keeps the smooth flow of exploration while moving around the world, if you are not particularly interested in which entrance you use and do not want additional UI when entering a scene.

    Specific Entrance
    Holding E or right-clicking Enter brings up a list of specific scene entrances that you can click on. This will allow you to access the entrance you want, but requires additional UI interaction. It would also open up the possibility for special entrances based on items in your inventory or character attributes.

    With this approach, any lots that are near scene entrances will be valuable since they will experience increased traffic, and those near the default entrance are still particularly valuable.

    Ardoris is functionally the best city in SotA that I know.
    Please fix what is broken but don't break what works :)

    Something like this would work... maybe even something resembling a fancy compass with NSWE and CENTER. Multiple points of entry would be so nice.

    I don't like the idea of the compass directions, because it is tied too much to direction. Some scenes may not have their entrances assigned in that way. I prefer having the entrance noted below the name and depending on where you stand in relation to the town, the entrance name will change.

    Each gate in a town has a name (like "West Gate" or "South East Gate"). Simply use those as the button label to send you to the right gate.

    If there are multiple exit points in a town, it's just silly that there would be only one entry point from the overland map. And I also like the idea about discovery -- the new entry points only show up once you discover the additional exit points.

    Only logical for scenes with multiple defined exits to have multiple defined entrances.
    Some of the scenes are MASSIVE. It takes me a good 5 minutes to get from the scene entrance in Storms Reach to my home overlooking the bay.
    There is a exit somewhat nearer my home than the main one that would shave a couple of minutes of walking if I were able to enter the scene using it.

    Id love multiple entrances to town. Otherwise there is a lot of pointless running to your house... As of now, I'd rather live close to entrance in PRT than having to run a long way to a house in the middle of a NPC city

    I always wanted this to work simply by the way your positioning on the overland map. If you are in the north part of the scene you should enter by north exit (entrance). If you are in the west, you enter with west one.

    They would still be near the entrance. Just one of few instead of the only one.

    It will make the towns more real if they have more entrances

    Picking which entrance use would be great. However, if the game simply remember the last entrance used (to exit) and pick it, will be fine with me too.

    Something like this would be excellent and relatively easy to implement I imagine.
    And instead of only being called West, East etc they could also be named after their in scene location.

    I have said it before - I really hope the devs implement multiple entrances, sooner rather than later.
    It makes no sense to many many exits and only one entrance.

    I hope this gets implemented soon...

    First time you go into a scene you load to the default entry point. After you explore and find the other exits, they become options to Enter.

    Please, the sooner the better...

    I also am hoping that this gets implemented soon. Extra entry/exit points should be on discovery base, at least for adventure scenes.
    I would also like to offer the following extensions to this mechanic:
    1. Allow players to jump to nested locations.
    2. Allow POT owners (not owner myself, mind you) to move the spawning points and or allow Adoris like local transport.

    Maaaan, they can't even get single entrances to work. E.G. Brittany Fields main entrance. Fix those, then work on multiples.
