    OMG, I was thinking of an incentive program last night to have peeps to test on QA. My plan was not that elaborate yet but, looks like DarkStarr had the same idea !!!

    Knowledge of the incentive plan is good advertisement for those thinking about bundles, and increases the value of Dev+, therefore the bundles. What purpose would hiding the incentive plan behind the Dev+ wall serve?

    The existence of Dev+ and the requirement to gain access to it has been known since the initial publish of the Pledge Packages on the Kickstarter site... It's also advertised in the Bundles... Were I Portalarium, I would add details of the incentive program to the description of Dev+ included on the Bundle pages.

    Booo! I can't afford a pledge to take advantage of these items because you limit it to ppl who can access your dev server? And all the bugs EXIST on the live server anyway?!? OK! I object to this.

    I therefore I refuse to post one more bug report. Thank-you for your time Portalarium! Hope you appreciated mine.

    FYI - half of the items through the TIP are available by testing the regular live server.

    Hmmmm it says in Darkstarr's note that there are lots of rewards that can be earned on the live server as well as qa server. Dev+ is still dev+ not better than anyone else ever imo, but in reality it exists as a marketing strategy to provide much needed funds for the game. Getting us the dollars for the features we all rally for here. In the long run we all win with a great game full of awesome features and fun.

    I wonder how much of a disadvantage it would be? I mean, if I wasn't spending four hours on the Dev server, I'd be spending those four hours on the Live server. Tossing an experience bone to me in Live for work I did in Dev wouldn't be much of an advantage, if any at all.

    If the game needs more testers to make a better product, then I fully support expanding the number of people who can participate in testing the QA server. I think the interest of the product quality should take a front seat to anyone's perception of entitlement. With a better product, everyone wins.

    I agree with you. I don't see it as an unfair advantage as you need to do your time on the QA to get the bonus on live. This would even out your time imbalance and the rest of the vanity items would be the lure.

    Is this to say that past participation is not counted and only going forward will we accrue?
