Are NPC's selling lot deeds yet?

Current funding model seems to be giving the "haves" anything they want and are willing to pay for, while the "have nots" get as much as is necessary to keep them playing. So, I don't see the devs acting against the interests of the "haves" any time soon.

 

Probably just do purchases on an alt account though.

 

Which would require paying for a new account. Wouldn't prevent it, but would help curtail it, as even an account without a lot would still have to pay an increasing amount per ticket, just not nearly as high.

Perhaps an account variable that is set when you own a lot deed, used or not (same one that is checked when purchasing tickets), that is never reset to make new accounts of limited use in this regard?

 

Many whales ended up with multiple accounts during the account merge and split days, trying to get royal founder on their accounts, and the desired number of rent free lot deeds in the desired denominations.
What's a $45 pledge to a person that spent 1k+ on pledges, and Pots.

 

Kind've missing the point, and the suggestion that helps prevent the landed from abusing the system too badly. And to answer the last question, as one of those "whales", it's $45 more than I'd bother spending to screw people over. I have a game to play, and it doesn't involve feck the little guy.
