    Dog lives matter too, but that's beside the point. These cats may be cute and cuddly to some, but the people of New Britannia are doing this to protect us! The cats are sick... and now their disease is mutating and it's hurting Outlanders. What's happening may not be a popular action, but it's very much a necessary one.

    I thought I was dreaming. I was in Central Brittany, and I observed 4 vendors beat a cat to death. This is horrible.

    I also witnessed this today in Desolute. The trainer, a citizen, and the banker were punching the cat repeatedly.

    The cats are all gone in Harvest, so the buggers are killing all the chickens and leaving their tiny, feathered corpses to rot. Can't even skin them. If there must be needless slaughter, at least make it so we can profit from it. I hate to see wasted needless slaughter.

    What we need is to have multitudes of rats pouring into towns and villages infecting others with a plague that makes NPCs and players sick. This will be a setup for a quest to find cats to repopulate these towns and villages and give alchemists a reason to make and sell Cure Plague potions. Lemonade out of lemons and all that. :D

    I've witnessed this atrocity in both Port Titan and Brittany Central. I'm already an evil character so I might as well start killing these monsters that are abusing/torturing/killing my feline friends.
