    Looks like the hurricane will land or at least glance by the end of this week.

    Stock up good, supplies, and don't forget to pay lot taxes.

    Most important, stay safe!!

    As a Katrina survivor, (eye crossed my home) don't take any chances.
    A storm of this size and strength has water potential to wipe out entire cities.
    The wind may be bad but the water is where the most damage occurs.

    Gonna be close to me in VA on Saturday. We are hopeful it will be pushed out to sea mostly by the time it gets near us. Only time will tell, stocking up today just in case though!

    Myrtle Beach, South Carolina here. Hoping for the best. They begin evacuations tomorrow (technically, began today)

    I am not in an evacuation zone but just on the outside of one.

    I am not kidding our shopping list in case of long term problem items included 1 case of shock top, two boxes of boxed wine and one bottle of scotch. lol just in case, ya know. We may have post hurricane dinner parties.
