What is the best way to make use of the Immortality Fruit? I die all the time with one in my backpack. When I'm about to die I don't have the time or presence of mind to open my pack to eat it, and locking it to a slot in my combat bar (if that is possible) seems like a wasted slot.

How do others use their Immortality Fruit?

I use it to make Immortality Fruit of the Loom, so I never have to change my underwear. If I do wear underwear.

Honestly, I think I'd prefer it behaving like a food, rather then a like a pot. long duration, healing over time.

LOL I used it 1x just to try... its like a super POT... so if you have a slot for your POTS you can pull it there as well and it will come up in rotation.

Yes, you CAN, but considering that you'll likely only have one, is it really worth it? The only real use-case I can think of is if you're planning on dualing someone.

I use my as deco, I never get time to use it, I am not sure you can even use it in combat by clicking on it, I know I could not eat food when I was in combat... It is something that should be useful, but the way the combat is I usually need to run and if I run I cannot eat. Maybe if I set it in combat bar, but then it is wasted slot and I might still risk not eating it in time. Not to mention than it would take forever to grow new one and I somehow missed the exploit to make more of them:/

Maybe if you're taking on an unexpected horde? Or Troll / Dragon / Tharsis Vrul

The problem is, if it's unexpected, it's also unlikely that I'll have it in my bar (because it's something I would use so rarely that I really can't justify wasting a glyph on it). That means I'd have to go to my inventory to use it, which when on the verge of death in a battle is not something I likely have time for.

EDIT: Going after a big NPC like a troll or dragon is another good use though. It's the same thing; you know a risk is coming, so you can prepare.

If you're planning on a dual, you might expect a risk of getting to close and just lock it in a slot, but I'd hate to do that for normal day-to-day things. (That said, I don't claim to be the ultra-elite of this game, so maybe my analysis is wrong here)

The only way would be to have a "desperate times" deck which one pulls out for big boss fights. All other use cases seems like it is unlikely to occur.
