Fix the broken quests, buggy scenes and combat before you start adding new towns etc. You're not impressing anyone here.

Frequently it is easier to add knew content then fix an issue where you have to hunt for the source in the code. While it might seem great to declare that a dev team should fix the bugs first that is very rarely the best use of a teams talent and man hours. It's a balance to keep new content coming for people to stay interested in the game and fix bugs which come up in the code. Games would die pretty quick if they only worked on bugs and added nothing new.

Umm.... it's not the same people creating "new stuff" and fixing content. Are you suggesting that the world builders should sit around drinking shots until the quests are fixed? o_O

I think its a masked STOP THE PVPING! post. I suggest we also stop exploring space and fix the stuff on earth first. Development is evil!

All I see is the devs drinking and dressing up in costumes, adding more and more PAID items to this game, so I don't have to suggest they drink shots they already are :p

Not to be crass, but please don't speak for me. I am quite impressed with the progress the team is making in both aspects. I'm really enjoying the latest release and have seen steady improvement in overall 'buggieness'.

    Cheers,

Also another insider tip from my dev team. Sometimes the new content fixes the bugs. Sometimes it's better to write something new that overwrites the old script and fixes the corresponding problem. To the players this might look like they are adding new content and not fixing a bug when in reality the new content fixes the bug. Dev teams need down time and fun time to keep being productive. If the employees don't have fun working the company will burn through people fast and the game will suffer. For people who enjoy drinking an after hours work party is a great way to boost moral and cohesion within an organization which in turn makes the workers produce more when they are working.

They also have the whole list of features they need to implement according to the road map of episode 1 milestone. Fixing bugs will be something they do along the way based on the reports and the abilities to reproduce the issues.

It's also worth keeping in mind that sometimes you can't "fix" something until everything is in. There are many systems that interact with each other and some of those systems are still incomplete.

While I agree the quests need fixed there is absolutely room to continue to create new monsters or things to fight. The making of a new town or towns is not necessary as I remember from another post someone said I only go to a town to conduct business I dont care how it looks.

We are actually dedicating almost the entire Release 37 development period to improve performance, bug fixes, etc. You should see quite an improvement when released!

There are different people who work on different aspects of the game. Maybe it would help if you took time to understand the jobs involved and the process.

How about "Please remember that you are still legally obligated to deliver the content you've already taken money for regardless of how profitable new content may be", that better?
